GEO Secured Services is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to perform cash control, accounts receivable/payable, and payroll duties under supervision. The role supports policies on payroll accuracy, banking, and reporting.

The position involves month-end close, forecasting, budgeting assistance, and potential supervision of the receptionist/admin clerk, with responsibilities for inventory control and various duties as assigned.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field preferred.
• Two years in an accounting related capacity.
• General clerical aptitude; strong business English, grammar, and reporting skills.
• Working knowledge of office equipment such as computer terminals, fax machines, copy machines.

Aufgaben

• Processes all accounts payable, accounts receivables, checking accounts, employee payroll, and inmate payroll.
• Maintains and distributes employee payroll ensuring time is accounted for per GEO Policy.
• Makes bank deposits, writes checks, and maintains regular balance controls on all accounts.
• Collects and counts all cash, money orders or certified checks for inmates and credits the amount to the inmate account.
