GEO Secured Services is seeking a diligent Bookkeeper in the United States to handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and related financial tasks. You will process inmate payroll and assist with month-end closing, budgeting, and reporting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in accounting, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with accounting software. This role operates within GEO’s correctional and community services framework.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in accounting functions and clerical tasks.
• Strong grasp of payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable and oversee related banking.
• Manage employee payroll and inmate payroll; ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Prepare reports for AP/AR, payroll, and inmate accounts.
• Maintain balance controls and perform bank deposits and check writing.
• Oversee admin staff and assist in month-end closing, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Ensure inventory control for warehouse and supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
