Job summary

Carpark, Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage core financial processes in a fast-paced environment. In this role you will handle accounts receivable and payable, perform monthly closes, and ensure accurate general ledger entries.

You will liaise with vendors and support audit readiness while upholding GAAP and internal controls. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of GL accounting experience, strong Excel and Office skills, and the ability to work both independently

Qualifications

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office required (Excel at an advanced level).
• 2+ years in general ledger accounting or related financial experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processing, aging reports, credit memos, and monthly/quarterly/yearly close.
• Analyze accounts to ensure proper generalledger booking.
• Review Positive Pay through the bank.
• Prepare and review monthly P&L and balance sheet reconciliations; investigate variances.
• Maintain audit-ready records and files.
• Prepare monthly closing journal entries for various accounting expenses.
• Serve as primary vendor contact for communications, collections and payments.
• Reconcile checks, deposits and bank statements; compare actuals to budget; investigate variances.
• Resolves issues and records adjustments; review Payable invoices for accuracy.
• Ensure GAAP compliance in day-to-day transactions and internal controls.
• Other accounting tasks as needed.
