Spherion Staffing, LLC seeks a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist in Pasco County to manage daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support payroll, AP/AR, and budgeting. The role emphasizes confidentiality and service-industry experience.

You will record deposits, reconcile accounts, prepare monthly summaries, and act as a primary contact for vendors and clients. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel required; field service software like ServiceTitan or Jobber

Qualifications

2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
Proficiency in AP/AR, bank reconciliations, job costing, sales tax reporting, and payroll processing.

Responsibilities

Record daily deposits, expenses, and transactions; maintain organized digital and physical accounting files while ensuring strict confidentiality.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, process vendor invoices, issue customer bills, and assist with collections on past-due balances.
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, track departmental and technician transactions, prepare monthly financial summaries, and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
Help process payroll, keep detailed payroll records, track company credit cards/receipts, and gather end-of-year documentation for the CPA/tax preparer.
Serve as a primary point of contact for financial inquiries from clients, vendors, team members, and leadership, handling administrative accounting tasks as required.
