Confidential in Sarasota, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, payroll, and reporting in QuickBooks Online.

The role collaborates with ownership, handles AP/AR, bank reconciliations, monthly statements, and tax coordination with outside CPA, emphasizing accuracy and cost control. A strong background in GL, job-costing, Excel, and close processes is essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• 2+ years of independent month-end close.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and general ledger accuracy.
• Experience with job-costing and cost centers.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Handle QuickBooks Online accounting including AP/AR, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Process weekly payroll and ensure compliance with federal and Florida payroll laws.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports for ownership.
• Code expenses across GL accounts and cost centers.
• Coordinate with outside CPA for annual tax preparation and maintain organized records.
