Job summary

CFS is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper in St. Petersburg, FL to manage full-cycle bookkeeping and ensure accurate financial records. The role covers AP/AR, reconciliations, payroll support, and monthly financial reporting to leadership.

You will own the bookkeeping function, coordinate with leadership, and help streamline processes for efficiency. A degree in accounting/finance and 3+ years of experience are preferred, with strong Excel and QuickBooks skills.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, including full-charge responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience performing bank reconciliations, managing AP/AR, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day bookkeeping functions, maintaining accurate financial records, journal entries, and general ledger activity.
  • Manage the full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and account maintenance.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts while investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Bookkeeper will administer payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and related reporting to ensure timely and accurate compensation.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, support month-end and year-end close processes, and provide reporting and analysis to leadership.
