Role Description

The Bookkeeper role is a full-time, on-site position based in St. Petersburg, FL. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including recording daily financial transactions, preparing and posting journal entries, and reconciling accounts. Experience in the construction industry is a MUST!!

The Bookkeeper will assist in the preparation of financial statements, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, and ensure that accounting records are up to date and compliant with company policies. The role also involves working with accounting software to input data, generate reports, and support management with timely financial information. Collaboration with project managers and other team members is essential to track project-related expenses and provide clear, organized financial documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Bookkeeping and Finance, with a strong understanding of general accounting principles.


• Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements to support management decision-making.


• Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and related financial tools for data entry and reporting.


• Ability to accurately record and reconcile Journal Entries (Accounting) and maintain organized ledgers.


• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.


• Previous experience in construction or real estate industries is beneficial but not required.


• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
