Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, lead a strong team, and uphold our CORE values of Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork, and Empowerment. You will drive guest satisfaction with fast, friendly service and quality food while controlling labor and costs.

This non-exempt role requires a minimum of 50 hours per week, ServeSafe certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one years restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Required when needed, the ability to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends, and some holidays. Schedule demands may change.
• This non-exempt management position is expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and manage a strong team.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with fast, friendly service and quality food.
• Uphold Border Foods core values and safety standards.
• Schedule and delegate tasks to Team Members and Shift Leaders.
• Monitor P&L, labor, inventory, and costs to drive profitability.
