Job summary

Novae LLC in Middlebury, IN is seeking a BOM Specialist to ensure accurate product codes and Bills of Materials in ERP systems, Visual, and Novae Configurator. You’ll support order management, manufacturing processes, material scheduling, and costing.

You'll collaborate with Operations, Sales, Engineering and Purchasing to ensure correct BOM structure, components, quantities, and timely changes, while teaching others about cost impacts and cross-functional effects.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent demonstrated knowledge.
• Experience in manufacturing to understand processes, costs, and material flow.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP/BOM experience.
• Clear verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain accurate multi-level BOMs with audits.
• Collaborate across Operations, Sales, Engineering and Purchasing.
• Execute change control for BOM accuracy and communicate changes.
• Assess the impact of changes across brands and products.
• Explain cost impacts of BOM changes and their effects on production and COGS.
