Job summary

Sternberg in Roselle, IL is seeking a BOM Specialist to maintain accurate Bills of Materials and support new programs through engineering and prototyping.

You will coordinate with engineering, materials, and manufacturing to track BOM changes, create part numbers, evaluate changes from receipts and orders, and prepare for change requests.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and consistent Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Coordinates with engineering team to manage and track BOMs for new programs throughout engineering and prototyping phase.
• Evaluates changes to BOMs using receipts, purchase orders, works orders, and maintenance records with engineering, materials, managers, manufacturers, and other teams.
• Creates item part and document numbers.
• Prepares for change requests to change orders.
