Job summary

WaterFurnace International, Inc. in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Manager of Bill of Materials to oversee the full lifecycle of product data, ensuring accuracy and alignment across engineering, purchasing and manufacturing teams.

You will manage BOMs, ECOs and component changes within ERP systems to support cost-effective operations. The role requires strong experience with BOM management, ERP/MRP systems, and PLM tools, plus the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and read

Qualifications

Experience in BOM management, engineering documentation, or supply chain.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain preferred.
Strong data management and ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain detailed BOMs for products and components.
Load and manage component parts in the ERP system.
Implement ECOs and revisions to BOMs as engineering changes occur.
Oversee BOM data integrity across ERP systems and departments.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to resolve discrepancies.
Assist cost calculations through accurate material and component data.
Support evaluation of Excess and Obsolete inventory through E&O processes.
