Job summary

GMi Companies, Inc. in Lebanon, OH is seeking a BOM Specialist to enter and manage bills of materials for custom orders. You will create BOMs, update routings, and ensure engineering changes flow smoothly to production.

You will collaborate with Purchasing, Product Development, and Scheduling to meet project milestones. Proficiency with SolidWorks and Excel is preferred; APICS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Understanding of BOM structure and labor standards.
• APICS Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build BOMs for custom orders.
• Work with Purchasing to buy special materials and track materials.
• Enter BOMs for new products and change BOMs from ECR/ECO.
• Set up custom order process with Product Development.
• Coordinate with Scheduling and Production leads.
• Modify product drawings in SolidWorks.
• Assist in ECR execution.
• Audit system structures and item cards.
• Participate in Kaizen teams for engineering modifications.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on active projects.
• Monitor and improve processes and internal controls.
• Drive improvements on custom orders process.
