Job summary

Sigma Design Inc. is seeking an Engineering Coordinator - BOM Specialist to coordinate BOM management across ERP and PLM systems. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management to ensure accurate part numbers, quantities, and timely release.

The role is Hybrid after a 30-day training period, with 2–4 in-office days per week as projects require. Day shift, Monday through Friday, with a compensation package including PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience working in an ERP solution, preferably NetSuite.
• Familiarity with a PLM solution, preferably Bild.
• Strong capabilities with Excel, VBA experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English language communication skills
• Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one's own work group
• Demonstrate commitment and adherence to Sigma Design Core Values
• Pass a post-offer background verification
• Highly organized and detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Bill of Materials (BOM) Coordination: Create and maintain BOMs within the ERP system, ensuring correct part numbers and quantities.
• Audit BOM information for accuracy and completeness.
• Update BOM revisions with cross-functional teams as needed.
• Utilize ERP for item creation, modification, and maintenance.
• Generate reports and analyze BOM data for trends and process improvements.
• Manage user accounts and project setup.
• Provide helpdesk support and escalate issues as needed.
• Reconcile data differences between PLM and ERP.
• Act as liaison between engineering, procurement, and project management.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to update BOM status and timelines.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization in BOM management and procurement.
• Collaborate to implement improvements and best practices.
• Assist managers with process improvements and controls.
