Sigma Design in the Pacific Northwest seeks an Engineering Coordinator – BOM Specialist to manage BOMs in ERP and PLM, ensuring accurate part numbers, quantities, and timely releases across projects.
You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management, reconcile ERP/PLM data, and drive improvements in BOM management. Hybrid after 30 days; 2–4 days in the office as needed.

The Engineering Coordinator - BOM Specialist plays a crucial role in coordinating andfacilitatingvarious aspects of engineering projects, with a primary focus on Bill of Materials (BOM) management. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams,utilizingERP & PLM systems, and ensuring the efficient flow of information and documentation throughout the engineering project lifecycle.
Create and maintain BOMs within the ERP system, ensuring correct part numbers, quantities, supportingtimelyrelease and project schedule.
Audit BOM information for accuracy and completeness
Work with other departments to coordinate and update BOM revisions as needed.
Utilize the ERP system for seamless part item creation, modification, and maintenance.
Generate reports and analyze BOM data toidentifytrends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Responsible for managing user accounts and project setup.
Provide helpdesk support, troubleshoot issues, and elevate issues appropriately.
Reconcile data differences between PLM and ERP
Act as a liaison between engineering, procurement, project management, and other relevant departments tofacilitateeffective communication and information flow.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide insights and updates on BOM status, order processing, and project timelines.
Identifyopportunities for process optimization, data accuracy enhancement, and efficiency improvements in BOM management and procurement processes.
Collaborate with relevant teams to implement recommended improvements and best practices.
Assistdepartment managers in the development of process improvements and document controls, asappropriate.
Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.
