Job summary

Sigma Design in the Pacific Northwest seeks an Engineering Coordinator – BOM Specialist to manage BOMs in ERP and PLM, ensuring accurate part numbers, quantities, and timely releases across projects.

You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management, reconcile ERP/PLM data, and drive improvements in BOM management. Hybrid after 30 days; 2–4 days in the office as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP solutions, preferably NetSuite.
• Familiarity with a PLM solution, preferably Bild.
• Strong Excel skills; VBA experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain BOMs within the ERP system, ensuring correct part numbers, quantities, timely releases, and project schedule.
• Audit BOM information for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate BOM revisions.
• Utilize ERP for part item creation, modification, and maintenance.
• Generate reports and analyze BOM data to identify trends and improve processes.
• Manage PLM user accounts and project setup; provide helpdesk support.
• Reconcile data differences between PLM and ERP.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, and project management to facilitate communication and information flow.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and data accuracy in BOM management.
