Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is assisting a client in Rutland, VT to hire a Bolt Division Machine Operator. You will set up, operate, troubleshoot and maintain bolt-making equipment as part of a small manufacturing team.

Shift 1 runs 7 AM to 3 PM, with starting pay range $17.75–$18.75 per hour. Prior machine operation experience and a forklift license are preferred; OSHA safety rules and Carris Reels safety program apply. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior machine operation/manufacturing experience preferred.
• General knowledge of small hand tools.
• Forklift experience/license preferred.
• High School Diploma or educational equivalent preferred.
• Math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.

Responsibilities

• Conducts machine troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Able to read a micrometer and scale.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, a forklift license.
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules and Carris Reels safety program.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Excellent attitude, communication, and team work skills.
• All other duties as required.
