Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Bolt Division Machine Operator in Rutland, VT. You will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain bolt making equipment on a first shift (7AM-3PM, 4-12pm). Starting pay range is $17.75-$18.75 per hour. Ideal candidates have prior machine operation experience and forklift certification, with strong math and measurement skills.

The role requires reading micrometers, scales, and basic arithmetic, plus a safety-conscious, team-oriented attitude. HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior machine operation/manufacturing experience preferred.
• General knowledge of small hand tools.
• Forklift experience/license preferred.
• High School Diploma or educational equivalent preferred.
• Math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Reads a micrometer and scales to verify part dimensions.
• Performs basic arithmetic operations in all units of measure.
• Maintains safe operations by complying with OSHA and plant safety rules.
• Maintains clean and orderly work areas and supports teamwork.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and effective communication.
• Fulfills all other duties as required.
