Qualifications

• Prior machine operation/manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on bolt making equipment.
• Read a micrometer and a scale.
• Perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Operate forklift if licensed.
• Comply with OSHA safety rules and Carris Reels safety program.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
• All other duties as required.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Band III Machine Operator – 2nd shift – will set up, operate, trouble shoot, and maintain bolt making equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Conducts machine troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Able to read a micrometer and scale
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, a forklift license
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules and Carris Reels safety program
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Excellent attitude, communication, and team work skills
• All other duties as required
