Carris Reels, Inc. is seeking a Bolt Division Machine Operator to set up and operate bolt making equipment on the 1st shift. You will troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure accurate tolerances using micrometers. A forklift license is preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Prior machine operation/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to read a micrometer and scale.
• Math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain bolt making equipment.
• Read a micrometer and scale to verify tolerances.
• Perform basic math in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Follow OSHA safety rules and Carris Reels safety program.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and participate in teamwork.
