Job summary

Carris Reels, Inc. is seeking a Band III Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Rutland, Vermont. You will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain bolt making equipment, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Candidates with forklift experience or license preferred, basic math skills, and the ability to read micrometers and tape measures are encouraged to apply. We offer strong benefits, ongoing training, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Prior machine operation/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience/license preferred.
• High School Diploma or educational equivalent preferred.
• Math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain bolt making equipment.
• Read a micrometer and scale.
• Read a tape measure.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Carris Reels safety program.
• Excellent attitude, communication, and team work Skills.
