Job summary

Carris Reels, Inc. is seeking a Bolt Division Machine Operator to set up and operate bolt making equipment on the 1st shift. You will troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure accurate tolerances using micrometers. A forklift license is preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

The Band III Machine Operator 1^st^ shift will set up, operate, trouble shoot, and maintain bolt making equipment.

Essential Functions

• Conducts machine troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Able to read a micrometer and scale
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, a forklift license
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules and Carris Reels safety program
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Excellent attitude, communication, and team work skills

All Other Duties As Required

Education / Experience:

• Prior machine operation/manufacturing experience preferred
• General knowledge of small hand tools.
• Forklift experience/license preferred
• High School Diploma or educational equivalent preferred
• Math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
