Wood is seeking skilled boiler and tank assemblers to fabricate, assemble and repair vessels to exacting standards. You will use power tools, torches and rigging to position components, align frames, and perform welding and edge finishing as required.

Responsibilities include reading plans, coordinating lifts with crane operators, and testing assembled vessels for leaks. Safe work practices and attention to detail are essential in this hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and repair boilers, tanks, and related components.
• Rig components with rigging and signals to crane operators.
• Align structures using plumb bobs, levels and wedges.
• Weld, flame-cut, and finish edges for proper fit.
• Bolt and weld sections to frames, install ducts and supports.
• Test vessels by filling with water or gas and check for leaks.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning using tools and equipment.
• Observe all safety and project rules.
