Qualifications

• Typically, 3 years and above documented field experience in chosen craft discipline with ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan and perform work activities independently.

Responsibilities

• Locates and marks reference points for foundations using geometry.
• Attaches rigging or signals crane operator to lift components to position.
• Aligns boiler frames, tank sections or vessels to plumb and level.
• Hammers, flame-cuts, files, and grinds edges for fitting.
• Bolts or welds structures and sections to frame or supports.
• Installs water tubes, connects drums and headers, and expands ends.
• Performs maintenance or cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Signals crane operator during lifts and assists in testing vessels for leaks.
