Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks Sales & Service in Grandview, MO is seeking an Account Executive to develop client relationships and drive sales of boiler equipment, auxiliary equipment, and service.

The role is a direct customer-facing position requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with substantial travel (50%+) to visits, tradeshows, and customer sites. You will research RFQs, follow up on quotes, and help grow the territory with management support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant sales experience in industrial boiler systems.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Travel 50%+ for customer visits and events.

Responsibilities

• Develop client relationships within an assigned geographic territory to foster sales of boiler equipment, auxiliary equipment, and service.
• Perform required research to support RFQ responses and information solicitation, ensuring solutions meet equipment/use specs.
• Follow up on quotes to spur customer decisions and close deals.
• Prospect and generate new business opportunities through cold calling and outreach.
• Collaborate with management to develop local strategy and provide feedback on sales programs.
