Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Boiler Operator to manage the Energy Center at our plant. You will monitor processes, operate boilers and related equipment, and participate in QA and maintenance programs.

This role requires a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher and a strong I&E skillset. You will work on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, adhere to safety and environmental standards, and support continuous improvement through written procedures and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Must have ability to work effectively with CMMS.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Time management skills.
• Preferred minimum degree from a two year college or technical/vocational school, military background or 3 years work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate Energy Center on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective production.
• Maintain clear communication with all operators to ensure consistent operation across shifts.
• Follow all plant policies and procedures and keep the plant clean and organized.
• Assist in updating operating procedures and training manuals for process operations.
