Icon Boiler is seeking a Level 2 Boiler Mechanic in Raleigh, NC to independently perform routine boiler repair, installation, pipe fitting, welding, and refractory tasks. The role requires reading drawings, following safety and quality controls, and supporting less-experienced team members.

Responsibilities include preparing boilers for inspections, tube work, hydrotesting support, and maintaining service records. Travel and overtime are required as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years in boiler or industrial mechanical work.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Welding test or qualification may be required.
• U.S. employment eligibility and valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Independently perform routine boiler repair, installation, and pipe fitting per scope and safety rules.
• Prepare boilers for inspection and perform removal, alignment, and repair of components.
• Perform basic welding, brazing, cutting, and tube work per qualifications.
• Tubing and hydrotest support for firetube and watertube boilers.
• Maintain field records and communicate updates to leadership.
• Mentor Level 1 techs and assistants.
• Travel and overtime as required.
