C&C Boiler Sales & Service, Inc. in South Carolina is seeking an Industrial Boiler Mechanic with hands-on experience in boiler installation, welding, refractory repair, and related mechanical work.

This role is field‑based and will operate in both our shop and customer sites. You will install, align, and commission boilers and related equipment, perform welding (SMAW, MIG, TIG), fabricate supports and pipe systems, and conduct boiler re‑tubing and refractory replacement with a strong

Qualifications

• 5+ years of welding/fitting and/or boiler/industrial mechanical work.
• Proficient in welding and pipefitting; ability to pass weld tests.
• Working knowledge of boiler system components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and safety docs.
• Strong verbal and written communication; reports and correspondence.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces.
• Must complete OSHA 10/30 and pass a drug screen.
• Occasional out-of-town travel and overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Boiler Equipment Installation: Install, align, and secure packaged boilers and related equipment.
• Welding & Fabrication: Field and shop welding on piping systems and pressure vessels; fabricate skids and supports.
• Boiler Re‑Tubing & Repairs: Remove/replace tubes; hydrostatic testing.
• Refractory Repair & Replacement: Inspect, install, and cure refractory linings.
• Pipefitting: Assemble and install pipe systems per drawings.
• Code Work: ASME/NB repair and alteration projects per standards.
• Safety & Training Compliance: OSHA safety training adherence.
• Team Support & Communication: Collaborate with field operations and leadership.
