Job summary

Compass Group USA, through its ESFM division, is hiring a Boiler Maintenance Technician for a full-time role in Aurora, CO. The position requires a valid City of Aurora Stationary Engineer’s license or Denver mechanical certifications, five years of boiler operations or industrial plant maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license.

The role involves maintaining boilers, pumps, valves, and related systems within a facilities maintenance team.

Qualifications

5 years of experience in boiler operations or industrial plant maintenance.
Valid driver’s license.
Apprentice card from the State in plumbing, electrical, HVAC or relevant trade.
General understanding of electro-mechanical equipment.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor for extended periods.
Must hold or obtain City of Aurora Class A or B Stationary Engineer’s License and/or Denver applicable mechanical certifications.

Responsibilities

Update work statuses and document tasks in the CMMS using a mobile device.
Monitor and maintain boilers.
Inspect fluids, water, gas, etc inside boilers and related equipment; adjust fluids as needed.
Repair boiler machinery such as piping and valves.
Replace boiler parts that are defective or in need of replacement.
Record daily readings.
Adjust equipment to ensure boiler system safety and functioning.
Maintain cleanliness of boiler rooms and related facilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
