Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time day shift at the Aurora, CO location. You will perform skilled maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, lead project work, and support field operations to ensure safety and quality.

The role requires vocational training and licensure, with a strong emphasis on reliability and teamwork. This position offers a solid benefits package and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Four years of skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling.
• Five years of maintenance technician experience in an institutional setting in an engineering or maintenance discipline.
• Two years of experience as a licensed Journeyman in the specialized trade.
• One of the following: Master license in one trade; Journeyman Electrical License or EPA certification in Refrigerant/AC; or Journeyman Plumber License (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Assists in making decisions on repairs and reports major problems.
• Constructs, installs, maintains and repairs electrical and mechanical systems and related facilities.
• Maintains HVAC, electrical and mechanical building systems and related equipment.
• Supervises and leads a group of workers on a project.
• Reads and transmits complicated instructions verbally and in writing.
• Teaches advanced maintenance skills to other department members.
• Reviews work of outside vendors and creates punch lists.
• Maintains logs, performs rounds and completes work orders, tests and inspections.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
