Job summary

ESFM USA in Aurora, CO is seeking a Full-time Maintenance Technician for day shift. Location: 25000 E. 56th Ave, Aurora, CO 80019. Must have a valid driver’s license and maintenance experience; MVR check required to operate company vehicles.

The role covers electrical and mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and supervisor duties for a small crew. Competitive pay and benefits offered by a Compass Group company.

Qualifications

• Four years of skilled trade schooling required.
• Five years of maintenance technician experience in an institutional setting.
• Two years of experience as a licensed Journeyman in the specialized trade.
• Must have valid driver’s license and pass MVR check.
• Ability to read and transmit complex instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assists in making decisions on repairs; reports major problems to supervision.
• Constructs, installs, maintains and repairs electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintains HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems; services and diagnoses malfunctions.
• Supervises and leads a group of workers on a project.
• Reads, comprehends and transmits detailed instructions verbally and in writing.
• Teaches advanced maintenance skills to others in the department.
• Reviews work of outside vendors and creates punch lists.
• Repairs discrepancies as assigned; analyzes complex building system problems.
