Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Auxiliary Operator to work with the control room to operate and inspect power plant systems safely and efficiently, supporting the industrial disposal process.

You will monitor boilers and associated equipment, perform chemistry testing as needed, and handle heavy equipment like cranes and forklifts. This role requires a rotating shift and commitment to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years’ experience operating a boiler or heavy industrial equipment is required.
• Experience with chemistry testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems in accordance with safety operating procedures.
• Monitor and inspect boiler plant auxiliary equipment (pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves, conveyors, etc.).
• Read data from meters, gauges, and tools to identify trends or disruptions to operations.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment.
• Perform sampling, chemistry testing, and water treatment as required.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment (cranes, skid steers, loaders, forklifts).
• Maintain correct refuse-fuel levels and mix in designated pits and areas.
• Carry out additional duties to ensure safe and efficient operations.
