Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Auxiliary Operator to join our facility control room and help operate and inspect various power plant systems safely and efficiently. You will work with boilers, air pollution controls, ash handling, and other heavy industrial equipment to ensure optimal plant performance.

The role requires 2–3 years of heavy equipment experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to work a rotating shift schedule. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• 2-3 years experience operating heavy industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems in accordance with safety operating procedures.
• Monitor and inspect boiler plant auxiliary equipment such as pumps, motors, fans, dampers, and valves.
• Read meters, gauges, and instruments to identify trends or disruptions affecting operations.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment including cranes, skid steers, and forklifts.
• Maintain correct levels of refuse-fuel and ensure proper mix in designated pits.
• Perform sampling, chemistry testing, and water treatment as required.
