Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking an Assistant Auxiliary Operator to monitor the facility's fuel system under the supervision of the Boiler Shift Supervisor. The role involves supporting boiler outages and performing routine maintenance tasks while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Your responsibilities include monitoring fuel and fire protection systems, executing LOTO procedures, assisting during outages, and performing general housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training preferred.
• Massachusetts 2nd Fireman’s License preferred.
• Valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fuel distribution system.
• Monitor fire protection system including assisting in fire prevention and extinguishment of incipient fires.
• Performs lock-out tag-out (LOTO) on various systems as required.
• Boiler outage duties: pressure washing, unplug hoppers and conveyors, internal boiler cleaning, tipping valve tune ups and repairs and expansion joint repairs and replacement.
• Drag chain shaft and flight deragging.
• Performs maintenance on equipment and assists maintenance during outages.
• General housekeeping.
