Job summary

Reworld in West Wareham, MA is seeking an Assistant Auxiliary Operator to monitor the facility fuel system under the Boiler Shift Supervisor. You will help ensure safe operations, support fire protection controls, and participate in outage activities and general housekeeping.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, technical training preferred, MA 2nd Fireman's License preferred, and a valid Massachusetts driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical training preferred.
• Massachusetts 2nd Fireman's License preferred.
• Valid State Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fuel distribution system.
• Monitor fire protection system including assisting in fire prevention and extinguishment of incipient fires.
• Performs lock-out tag-out (LOTO) on various systems as required.
• Boiler outage duties: pressure washing, unplug hoppers and conveyors, internal boiler cleaning, tipping valve tune ups and repairs and expansion joint repairs and replacement.
• Drag chain shaft and flight deragging.
• Performs maintenance on equipment and assists maintenance during outages.
• General housekeeping.
