Job summary

Reworld seeks an Auxiliary Operator to join our Massachusetts facility. You will work with the control room team to operate and inspect power plant systems safely and efficiently, supporting our carbon-negative waste management process.

Responsibilities include monitoring boilers and auxiliary equipment, reading meters, performing sampling, and safely operating heavy equipment on rotating shifts; 2–3 years experience and a MA Fireman license preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years’ experience operating heavy industrial equipment preferred.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and on-call coverage.
• 2nd MA Fireman license or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems in accordance with safety procedures (boilers, air pollution control, ash systems, etc.).
• Monitor and inspect boiler auxiliary equipment (pumps, motors, fans, dampers, compressors, valves, mixers, conveyors, turbines, electrical devices).
• Read meters, gauges, and other tools to identify trends and potential equipment disruptions.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment.
• Perform sampling, chemistry testing, and water treatment as required.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment (cranes, skid steers, loaders, forklifts).
• Other duties to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
