Job summary

Common Bond Bistro & Bakery is seeking a BOH Supervisor in Houston, TX to assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing the line and ensuring smooth service flow. You will mentor staff, enforce training, and uphold health and safety standards across kitchen areas.

Responsibilities include maintaining product quality, coordinating with front-of-house on customer relations, and leading back-of-house operations in the Chef de Cuisine's absence.

Qualifications

• Creativity, culinary aptitude and a passion for working with food.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work as part of a team and mentor others.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistency of all products representing the Common Bond Brand.
• Work with the FOH to assist with customer relations development.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in kitchen and serving areas.
• Prepare menu items following recipes and yield guides per department standards.
• Train staff to standard performance levels and ensure safety guidelines.
