Roots Natural Kitchen is hiring a Shift Manager for the Back of House to ensure fast, friendly, high‑quality service. You’ll lead BOH crew, train staff, and uphold food safety standards in a busy kitchen environment.

In this role, you will partner with Leadership to deliver consistent guest experiences while maintaining strong team morale. A positive attitude and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a restaurant or kitchen team is preferred.
• Ability to motivate and develop crew members.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Roots culture and create a special guest experience daily.
• Collaborate with Leadership Team to maintain a positive work environment.
• Train and guide Back of House crew to achieve peak performance.
• Oversee food safety practices and proper sanitation at all times.
• Lead shifts with focus on fast, high‑quality service and consistency.
