Job summary

Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse Fort Worth seeks Back of House Shift Leads to partner with the management team and execute successful shifts while supporting the development of the BOH team.

This role requires strong communication, sound judgment, time management, and the ability to maintain food quality and kitchen flow during high-volume service. Shifts reinforce Parry's recipes and standards, coaching teammates in the moment.

Qualifications

• Previous BOH restaurant experience required; kitchen leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, recipe execution, food safety, and sanitation.
• Ability to coach peers and maintain positive working relationships.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the management team in opening, running, transitioning, and closing successful BOH shifts.
• Lead by example by consistently executing Parry's recipes, portion sizes, presentation standards, and food safety practices.
• Support kitchen readiness by validating station setup, prep levels, product availability, equipment, and cleanliness before service.
• Assist with daily BOH pre-shift meetings to communicate priorities and expectations.
• Coach teammates in real time on recipe execution, portion control, and station organization.
