Job summary

CarGuys Inc. in Virginia seeks a results-driven Body Shop Manager to lead the department, drive performance, and ensure premium repairs that meet safety and quality standards across all vehicles.

You will hire, train, motivate, and supervise staff, develop and manage the annual budget, monitor progress, address customer concerns promptly, and promote a culture of excellence with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a body shop manager.
• High energy, positive attitude, and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication, organization and follow up skills.

Responsibilities

• Forecast department goals and strive to meet them.
• Hires, trains, motivates, and monitors the performance of all body shop employees.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the body shop.
• Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring proper repair and safety procedures.
• Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks; conducts spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
• Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.
