Job summary

CarGuys Inc. is seeking an experienced Body Shop Manager to lead the service department. You will forecast goals, hire and coach staff, and manage the shop budget while ensuring high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have experience managing a body shop or similar automotive service department.
• High energy, positive attitude, and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication, organization and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
• Hires, trains, motivates, and monitors the performance of all body shop employees.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the body shop.
• Monitors progress and completion of vehicles, ensuring proper repair and safety procedures.
• Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks; conducts spot checks for quality.
• Handles customer complaints immediately and in line with dealership guidelines.

• Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.
