Job summary

Coggin Honda of Orlando Collision is seeking a Body Shop Estimator to appraise vehicle damage and prepare repair estimates for insurance claims and customer repairs. You will coordinate with insurance adjusters, manage work orders, and maintain open communication with customers to ensure smooth processing and satisfaction.

The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can uphold quality standards, pass pre-employment screenings, and maintain valid driving credentials.

Qualifications

• Appraise vehicle damage and prepare repair estimates for insurance claims.
• Develop cost estimates by pricing parts, labor, and materials.
• Maintain workflow with insurance adjusters and customers to ensure quality repair.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to identify damage and extent of repairs.
• Prepare WO with repair details and required approvals.
• Obtain insurance estimates and discuss repair requirements with adjusters.
• Explain estimates to customers and outline expected return date.
• Maintain repair quality and minimize comebacks.
• Keep body shop records of actions taken and parts used.
• Update knowledge through ongoing training and certifications.
• Support the body shop's reputation with excellent customer service.
