Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Boat Service Manager to lead the Boat Service area, directing daily activities, managing inventories, and ensuring high quality service and warranty processing. You will work under the Boat Manager to achieve department goals and deliver a positive customer experience.

The role requires supervisory experience in retail boating or a similar field, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with POS and inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, commissions, and percentages.
• Ability to read and analyze reports.
• Ability to present information to managers, associates, customers, and the public.
• Ability to conduct meetings and presentations.
• Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and POS/inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the Boat Service associates.
• Schedule and assign service, rigging and warranty work orders.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support service and parts sales.
• Foster a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
• Assist in staffing, training, and evaluating performance.
