Job summary

Block, Inc. seeks an experienced governance reporting professional to own end-to-end subsidiary reporting across 11 regulated entities.

You will coordinate with MLROs and compliance leads, synthesize cross-entity insights, and deliver Board-ready materials under tight deadlines. You will craft concise narratives for executive leadership, maintain reporting templates, and stay aware of varying regulatory contexts to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in compliance, governance, risk, or regulatory reporting.
• Direct experience producing Board-level or senior leadership reporting.
• Experience managing reporting across multiple regulated entities or jurisdictions.
• Strong corporate governance knowledge—understand Boards’ needs.
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into concise narratives.
• Fluency with AI tools as a daily workflow accelerant; know when human judgment overrides.
• Experience managing reporting cycles with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong written communication—write for executives, not just peers.
• Ability to work autonomously and own your scope.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end subsidiary governance reporting across 11 regulated entities from design to delivery.
• Coordinate with MLROs and compliance leads to gather, validate, and synthesize inputs on a recurring schedule.
• Craft cross-entity narratives surfacing patterns, risks, and themes for leadership.
• Deliver Board-quality governance reporting (ARC and subsidiary materials) under deadlines.
• Assess reporting content quality with governance judgment beyond formatting.
• Maintain awareness of entity-specific regulatory contexts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Manage reporting templates and format stewardship for subsidiary deliverables.
• Identify gaps where reporting capabilities need enhancement and flag them.
