Job summary

Block is seeking an experienced governance reporting professional to own end-to-end subsidiary reporting across 11 regulated entities, partnering with MLROs and compliance leads to deliver Board-ready materials.

You'll synthesize cross-entity narratives, maintain reporting templates, and drive improvements while applying governance judgment, with AI tools accelerating drafting and analysis.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in compliance, governance, risk, or regulatory reporting.
• Direct experience producing Board-level or senior leadership reporting.
• Experience managing reporting across multiple regulated entities or jurisdictions.
• Strong corporate governance knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize information into clear, concise narratives.
• Fluency with AI tools as a daily workflow accelerant.
• Experience managing reporting cycles with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong written communication for executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the subsidiary reporting cycle across 11 regulated entities — from cadence design through final delivery.
• Coordinate with MLROs and entity-level compliance leads to gather, validate, and synthesize reporting inputs on a recurring schedule.
• Compose cross-entity narratives that surface patterns, risks, and themes for leadership consumption.
• Deliver Board-quality governance reporting (ARC and subsidiary committee materials) under deadline pressure.
• Assess the substantive quality of reporting content — applying governance judgment, not just formatting.
• Maintain awareness of entity-specific regulatory contexts to inform reporting accuracy and relevance.
• Manage reporting templates and format stewardship for subsidiary deliverables.
• Identify gaps where reporting needs exceed current capability and flag them for prioritization.
