Job summary

Capital One’s Enterprise Risk Organization (ERO) seeks a Principal Associate to drive the Board reporting process and governance activities at the highest standards. You will partner with ERO leadership, CFRM, GovSec, and other stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate materials for senior leaders and the Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• 3+ years in Project Management, Process Management, or Risk Management.
• 2+ years supporting multiple internal stakeholders.
• 2+ years using Google Workspace applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end processes to develop and deliver the quarterly Integrated Risk Management Report (IRMR) for the Board.
• Ensure high-quality, audit-ready governance documentation and board presentations.
• Lead processes that support SEC second-line attestation and sub-certification.
• Collaborate across three lines of defense and GovSec to meet deadlines.
• Create and continually improve governance systems and templates.
