Job summary

Socket.dev in New York seeks a proactive professional to support the Divisional Risk Management group, helping design, execute, and maintain governance and strategy components across the globe.

You will coordinate with senior stakeholders, prepare internal and external reports for the Board, and manage BRALCO meeting logistics with accuracy and attention to detail. The role emphasizes cross-divisional collaboration and effective communication.

Qualifications

  • Energetic self-starter able to liaise with senior and cross-divisional stakeholders.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Analytically curious, adaptable, and committed to excellence.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate large data sets, develop metrics, and perform analysis is a plus.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • High proficiency in leveraging Artificial Intelligence tools (e.g., M365 Copilot).
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1–2 years in the Financial Services / Banking industry
  • Prior experience in risk management, compliance, or governance functions preferred (e.g. Enterprise Risk, Business Control Officers)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in driving the development, refinement, and delivery of internal and external reporting for the Board, senior management, and stakeholders across the firm.
  • Coordinate and liaise across senior stakeholders, various divisions and risk domains to gather, organize, and collate information for projects and presentations for the Board, senior management, and stakeholders across the firm.
  • Serve as the primary secretary administrator for BRALCO, including hosting and facilitating meetings, taking precise and actionable meeting minutes, and managing the end-to-end meeting lifecycle.
  • Help support key cross-divisional risk initiatives, ad hoc requests, follow-ups, and strategic projects under the direction of senior risk leadership.
