Job summary

Weidmann Electrical Technology in Middletown, OH is seeking an engineer to provide engineering and technical expertise for the Middletown Board production facility. The role focuses on safety, quality, and productivity improvements across process controls, manufacturing support, and project leadership.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Paper Science or Chemical Engineering with 3–5 years of manufacturing experience. On-site work with strong Lean/continuous improvement background is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Paper Science or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Three to five years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support process improvements to boost productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Lean Six Sigma projects.
• Coordinate new machine installation and startup activities.
• Provide technical problem solving and manufacturing support.
• Train operators on process best practices and troubleshooting.
