Job summary

Weidmann Electrical Technology in Middletown, OH is seeking a Process Controls Engineer to design, program, and optimize control systems for our continuous board manufacturing line. The role requires on-site work in Middletown and hands-on leadership of DCS/PLC projects.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Reliability, and Vendors to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant plant operation, while advancing plant-wide automation standards and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field; 5+ years in industrial controls in manufacturing.
• Experience with ABB, Siemens or Allen-Bradley controls systems; strong project management and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of SAP, industrial networking, machine safety, and process controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, implement and optimize industrial control systems for board manufacturing equipment.
• Lead controls-related capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Coordinate contractors, manage documentation, and ensure safety compliance.
