Job summary

A leading product and systems solutions manufacturer located in Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Development Engineer. The role focuses on process development, new product introduction, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing. Candidates should be skilled in Lean Manufacturing and project management, with proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manufacturing, process, or product engineering experience.
• 3–5 years of project leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and track manufacturing KPIs related to productivity, utilization, efficiency, and yield.
• Perform risk assessments (FMEA) for new and existing processes and products.
• Maintain and improve process documentation, including control plans, routings, BOMs, and standards.
• Support Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and corrective action initiatives.
• Develop and validate manufacturing processes using APQP methodologies.
• Support new product development, trials, and transition to production.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on tooling, equipment, and process improvements.
