Weidmann Electrical Technology, Inc. in St Johnsbury, VT is seeking a Production Manager - Fabrication to lead our make-to-order board fabrication line. You will drive Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement to meet safety, quality, service, and productivity goals.

The role requires 10+ years of leadership in 24/7 manufacturing, strong ERP proficiency (SAP) and collaboration with engineering, maintenance, and planning teams. Onsite, full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in 24/7 manufacturing operations.
• Proven expertise in make-to-order production, Lean, Six Sigma and TPM.
• Strong ERP proficiency; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives across 24/7 manufacturing facilities.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost performance.
• Lead cross-functional process optimization and operational improvement projects.
• Implement and sustain Lean Six Sigma and Shop Floor Management systems.
• Lead structured daily management systems including Gemba walks and performance huddles.
• Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance and Logistics to optimize schedules and material flow.
